Have you heard the latest news? Instagram's latest feature lets users add music to their feed posts. That means you can now add music to image posts in your feed, Stories, and Reels!
It was announced on the @creators Instagram account, saying "...we're excited to provide the ability to add music to Feed photo posts like you can with Reels and Stories."
Music plays a huge role in Reels and Stories — and with the latest feature, social media marketers, creators, and users can level up their storytelling by adding music to their photo posts on Instagram.
How To Add Music To Photo Posts
It's really easy!
The first thing you need to do is create a post using the "+" sign in the top right corner of the app.
Similar to how you normally create an Instagram post, choose a photo, then add your captions, tags, and hashtags.
To add music to your post, select the "Add music" option.
Next, search for songs or browse through the "Trending" or "For You" sections. Select the one you wish to add to your post.
Once you've selected a song, you can select a portion of the song you want to use for your post.
Note: you can choose between 5-90 seconds of the song.
That's it! When you're ready, hit "share" to publish your post.
